WE ARE DETROIT ROLLER DERBY
Detroit Roller Derby was originally founded as Detroit Derby Girls in 2005. We are the premiere roller derby league in the state of Michigan and a founding member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association. In 2016 Detroit Roller Derby was awarded a nonprofit status of 501c3.
Since then we have expanded our programs to include our Juniors program, a recreational program, and our new alumni program to accompany our robust and competitive travel team programs.
Our Mission
Detroit Roller Derby is the premier roller derby league in Michigan, offering a fun, exciting, well-organized and meaningful sporting experience for fans and league participants, while supporting, educating and developing league participants for national and international competition in the sport of roller derby. We practice at venues in Detroit/Metro Detroit and we play our games at the Masonic Temple, 500 Temple Street, Detroit, MI.
Detroit Roller Derby is a nonprofit enhancing lives and fostering an inclusive community through the evolutionary sport of roller derby.
